This Order may be cited as the Declaration of Controlled Area (Selebi-Phikwe) Order.
2. Declaration of controlled area
The area described in the Schedule hereto is declared to be a controlled area for the purposes of the Act.
SCHEDULE
The area the boundary of which is as follows—
Commencing on the right bank of the Motloutse River at a point A at latitude 21℃52’CF30″ south, longitude 27℃49’CF10″ east the boundary runs in an easterly direction along the right bank of the Motloutse River to a point B at latitude 21℃53’CF00″ south, longitude 27℃56’CF10″ east; thence in a straight line in a southerly direction to a point C at latitude 22℃07’CF00″ south, longitude 27℃49’CF10″ east; thence in a straight line in a westerly direction to a point D at latitude 22℃06’CF30″ south, longitude 27℃54’CF00″ east; thence in a straight line in a northerly direction to a point E at latitude 21℃59’CF20″ south, longitude 27℃47’CF10″ east; thence in a straight line in a north-westerly direction to a point F at latitude 21℃57’CF40″ south, longitude 27℃46’CF30″ east; thence in a straight line in a north-easterly direction to a point G at latitude 21℃56’CF10″ south, longitude 27℃47’CF50″ east; thence in a straight line in a northerly direction to the point of commencement, as will more fully appear from Plan NQ-92/1 filed in the Department of Surveys and Lands.

2. Declaration of controlled areas
Each of the areas specified in the Schedule is declared to be a controlled area for the purposes of the Act.
SCHEDULE
1. The mining area at Morupule, the boundaries of which are delineated on diagram D.S.L. No. 267/74 deposited with the Director of Surveys and Lands, Gaborone.
2. The mining area at Letlhakane, the boundaries of which are delineated on diagram D.S.L. No. 136/75 deposited with the Director of Surveys and Lands, Gaborone.
3. Jwaneng Township (as declared by the Cap. 40:02 (Sub. leg.) Declaration of Jwaneng Township Notice) together with the area specified in the Schedule to the Cap. 66:03 (Sub. leg.) Jwaneng Precious Stones Security Area Order, and the area specified in Part 1 of the Schedule to the Cap. 66:03 (Sub. leg.) Jwaneng Precious Stone Protection Areas Order, the boundaries of which aggregate area are delineated on diagram D.S.L. No. 86/79 deposited with the Director of Surveys and Lands, Gaborone.
