An Act for Botswana to accede to the revised convention of the Universal Postal Union and to regulations made thereunder to which Botswana was a signatory at the meeting of the Universal Postal Union held at Tokyo in 1969.
[Date of Commencement: 5th November, 1971]
This Act may be cited as the Universal Postal Convention Act.
2. Application of the Universal Postal Convention and of other agreements and regulations
The provisions of the Universal Postal Convention of the Universal Postal Union as revised at the meeting of the Universal Postal Union at Tokyo on 14th November, 1969 and of the agreements and regulations listed in the Schedule hereto shall apply to all mail matter transmitted between Botswana and other member countries of the Universal Postal Union.
