1.    Citation

    These Regulations may be cited as the Data Protection (Oath of Secrecy) Regulations.

2.    Form of oath

    The Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioner and any other officer of the Commission shall, before performing any duties under the Act, make and subscribe to the oath of secrecy set out in the Schedule hereto, in the case of the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner, before the Minister and in the case of any other officer before the Commissioner.

1.    Citation

    This Order may be cited as the Data Protection Act (Transitional Period) Order.

2.    Transitional period

    Any person required to comply with the provisions of the Act with regard to the processing of personal data under section 54 of the Act shall, within a period of 12 months, with effect from 16th September, 2022 comply with the provisions of the Act.
